The Gamma Sigma Omega Alumni Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. is located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Our chapter is dedicated to the personification of the 5 principles of Iota: Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Fidelity, and Brotherhood. As brothers of Iota Phi Theta our goal is to regularly impact the residents of Maricopa County through service.
Our mission of service is achieved through strategic partnerships and initiatives that elevate and improve all communities throughout the "Valley of the Sun", especially communities of color and communities that are economically disadvantaged.
Our brotherhood is made up of a collection of men from diverse racial, economic and professional backgrounds that are united by the motto of “Building a Tradition, Not Resting Upon One!”

On July 15, 2015, Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., chartered the Gamma Sigma Omega (GSO) graduate chapter at the 35th International Conclave in Memphis, TN. Brothers Chris Radney and Travis Martin founded the chapter with the goal of cultivating relationships with individuals from diverse academic and professional backgrounds that value the bond of brotherhood.
Our membership and our aspirations to impact our community continue to grow. Our aim is to create new and innovative ways to serve our community through public service, social action, and presence in Maricopa County.
